Welcome to Hokkaido!

Born and raised in Teine, Sapporo, I started skiing seriously in elementary school. From junior high through university, I competed as a mogul skier, traveling to various ski resorts in Hokkaido, Nagano, Niigata, and Fukushima for competitions during winter seasons.

After retiring from mogul competition due to a back injury, I became a backpacker, traveling throughout Asia and the Middle East, and even worked as a diving guide in Egypt.

I’ve visited Korea, China, Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, Malaysia, Laos, Indonesia, Philippines, Singapore, India, Pakistan, Iran, Turkey, Jordan, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Australia, and New Zealand.

At WINKEL Snow School since 2018

Since 2018, I’ve been a member of the WINKEL Snow School team, teaching not only skiing but also sharing insights about the lifestyle of Sapporo and Otaru.

On my days off, I enjoy backcountry skiing with my skiing friends.
